A Day For Your Writing
All writers need the same things: space and time to focus on your craft and your projects, education and inspiration from experienced authors, and connection with other writers. Join us this fall for a day-long writing retreat near Omaha, Nebraska.
More budget friendly than an expensive destination retreat, the Ink & Paper Mini Writing Retreat will give you a full day to step away from your To Do lists and distractions and get some words on the page. Sprinkled throughout the day will be insights and tactical advice from published authors from the Omaha area to give you motivation and an opportunity to improve your skills. We will do writing sprints, set aside general working or collaboration time, and get to know each other. It’s our goal that everyone will leave with a network of other writers that will be with them for the rest of their writing journey.

About Ink & Paper
Ink & Paper provides resources for writers. My name is Tara Waddell, and I founded Ink & Paper in 2019 because I was struggling with a lack of options for writers in the plains states where I live. I write Young Adult contemporary and fantasy and Adult thrillers. I also thrive on event planning, and I’ve coordinated conferences for software development professionals and for high school students. Ink & Paper combines these talents with a passion for helping other writers be successful and building a community of writers in the Omaha area. I can’t wait to get to know you.
